Hello, we will be telling you about why recycling is important.
Recycling is important because we need to reuse items so they will not
pollute the earth. Fossil fuels pollute the atmosphere. If the atmosphere gets too polluted the earth gets hot. We need to save energy so that we don't pollute the ozone. Here are some ways to help the earth's atmosphere and pollute less.
1. Recycling paper uses 60% less energy than new paper.
2. Fossil fuels pollute the earth, but if you drive less, you won't pollute the earth as much. And so the earth does not get hotter.
3. We can reuse the materials we recycle, so our landfills don't fill up.
4. Help the landfills by putting things that are available in the recycling bin and just don't throw random things away. (Such as a pizza box.)
5. Alternative energies are from natural sources (sun,wind, geothermal) around us in our surroundings. They replace fossil fuels. Alternative energies do not harm the earth.
