Green Monkey Homes was featured today on the Free Tech 4 Teachers blog. This is a wonderful blog with many great resources for teachers and students alike. The Green Monkey is very appreciative of the shout out.
On December 4, the GM Homes crew presented to the St. Joan of Arc 6th graders. A representative from OPPD was also in attendance. The presentation was a great success and a good first outing for the 6th grade. Throughout the second semester, they will be presenting at other schools.
This is the first post of the Green Monkey Schools blog. The 6th graders at JMSO will be creating the content for this site over the next two weeks. We have been learning about the environment and green living in science class. This is the collaborative project for it.
The Green Monkey was created in September of 2005 by the Jesuit Middle School of Omaha class of 2010. His mission is to help schools, businesses, and regular people find ways to save energy and recycle more.
